I was born and still live in the coastal village of Mullion. I am married to Lisa and have two grown up children, Gemma and Ben and two grandsons.
My hobbies are cricket and football and in my spare time I coach the youngsters of The Lizard peninsula cricket at Mullion cricket club along with running the youth/mens evening league team and on occasions I still turn out for the village seconds on a Saturday. If I am not found down at the club I am on the coastal footpath or on Dartmoor walking my two dogs Freddie (Flintoff) and Lilly.
When I left school I worked at the Polurrian hotel where I eventually became manager but in 1997 I decided it was time for a career change so I joined a corporate estate agency and I worked with Alan Christophers for 5 years, I was delighted when Alan and Patricia announced that they were setting up Christophers and offered me the job as branch manager in Mullion. I have been exceptionally lucky to work for such great employers who allow us, the staff, to use the best of our abilities to ensure our clients are given the best advice with their interests our absolute priority.
We do not sell mortgages/finance or conveyancing, just houses through basic old fashioned estate agency! I have been very proud and privileged to work from our Mullion office which covers the whole of The Lizard peninsula and thank everyone for all there support and trust which has been shown to me over the past years.

I was born and brought up in Porthleven and moved into Helston in 2004. I worked for a solicitors in Falmouth for two years then a position in a local solicitors in Helston came up and I worked for them for a further two years. I left the solicitors to have my daughter and concentrate on being a mum. In the new year of 2010 I was itching to go back to work and I joined Christophers in the February.
I am based in the Porthleven office which to me is ideal, as I am from Porthleven, know the village very well and have strong local knowledge.
I enjoy spending time with my family, socialising, listening to music and shopping!!

After several years working in the legal section based in Camborne for Kerrier District Council I continued in local government being employed as a secretary for Helston Town Council. Seeking a complete career change and the excitement of a new venture I joined Christophers when the Helston office first opened and have loved working here since day one. Employed as secretary/receptionist I am well known in the town where I was born and raised.
For a brief period I lived in Porthleven after I got married to my husband Steve. We currently live in Helston in a property which we built ourselves some ten years ago with the input and help of family members.
With a love of the outdoors walking and cycling are top of my list but for those who know me well would agree that the odd retail therapy session is never amiss! Other favourite pursuits are trying out new restaurants and different haunts, travel and the cinema.
What I hope I bring to Christophers is a smile and a warm welcome.

Having worked and trained in accountancy for over seven years, I decided to take three years out and travelled round various parts of the world working on cruise ships in different customer service roles. Once back in this country I met and married my husband and went back to working in an accountancy environment. After the birth of our son I wanted a more flexible job close to home and was offered an opportunity to join Christophers in February 2010. I am now based in the Helston office but rotate around the three offices when needed.
I love working in a customer service based environment again and enjoy the challenges each day brings.
Currently expecting our second child my main hobbies now are spending time with my family and trying to get a decent nights sleep!!!!
Patricia Christophers
Like my husband Alan I was born in Helston and i supported him in starting Christophers estate agency in 2002. From the begining i worked in a part time capacity and in 2004 I became full time working along side my husband in the Helston office contributing to the expansion of lettings along side the traditional estate agency. I work soley in the Helston branch where I am mainly responsible for the accounts and lettings procedures of the business.
I attended Halwin Primary school, Helston Comprehensive and undertook further education under the University of Plymouth studying Special Educational Needs graduating in 2003, i am currently studying to further enhance this qualification with the University of Worcester.
I was previously employed in the sales industry and also worked in interior design. This has complemented the house sales business immensely and gave me an interest in house staging which has proved to be particularly useful with houses that were proving a little difficult to sell.
Flora Day is extremely important to me and in 2005 I was honoured to be chosen to be part of the leading set for the Midday Dance. What made it even better was that both of my children were playing in Helston Town band a few yards ahead of me.
I am particularly interested in art and make use of the beautiful scenery around Helston. I love painting the fantastic, wild seas around our coast and the varied wild flowers that spread around the county.
Louise Christophers
I am currently studying Applied Biomedical Science at Cardiff and hope to be a microbiologist after I graduate. I was born in Helston and had the honour of leading my school, Parc Eglos, on Flora Day in my final year. At the end of my time at Parc Eglos School I was honoured to be the pupil awarded the headmasters cup. At Helston College I was deputy head girl and was fortunate enough to be awarded Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 Pupil of the Year. I was a member of the net ball team that reached the County Final and for three years I was part of the National award winning Helston School Jazz Orchestra.
I started working for Christophers in 2003 at the tender age of 12 on Saturday mornings and still help out during my University holidays. I am a member of Helston Town Band and Falmouth Ladies Cricket Team.

Being brought up in Porthleven and living there for 19 years I attended schools in both Porthleven and Helston and went on to further education at Camborne College. I started my Estate Agency career in 1994 and I have worked for Christophers Estate Agents since it all began in 2002. Having taken on various rolls in all three offices. I am now based in the Mullion Office which I enjoy very much and concentrate on all the admin for this office working closely alongside my colleague and Branch Manager Garry Tremayne.
I now live in Helston with my husband Chris who is in the Royal Navy and we have a little boy Charlie George who is 4 years old. We have moved house several times in the last ten years as doing this job does give you itchy feet seeing all the wonderful properties. We are now settled in our family home which we intend to stay in as we have climbed the ladder as far as we can go for now.
I enjoy socialising, walking, reading and spending time with my family.

I joined Christophers Estate Agents in October 2011 after returning to Cornwall from University. I grew up in Porthleven and attended Porthleven and Helston School where I had the honour of being Head Boy. I have always had an interest in property and am passionate about the area in which I live. I am excited about joining Christophers at such an exciting time for the company.
Outside of estate agency my main love is music and have played for many local Brass Bands as well as School and County Ensembles. In 2006 I went to Birmingham Conservatoire to study musical composition where I achieved a first class honours degree. In 2010 I continued my studies at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, London where I was awarded a Masters degree in Music. My music has been performed at various venues across the country including Symphony Hall, Birmingham, the Wigmore Hall and the Royal Albert Hall, London.

I have worked at Christophers since November 2006 when I was invited to join the team when the Porthleven office opened. I have always been interested in property and I love meeting people: so this job combines both and I consider myself very fortunate to have the opportunity of meeting so many lovely people while working in such a beautiful place.
I moved to Porthleven from Helston on my 3rd birthday and grew up in the village, one of my grandparents was a fisherman and one a farmer, so I think it’s fair to say my roots are truly ‘Cornish’. The local knowledge I have, has proved to be invaluable to prospective purchasers and vendors alike.
I am married to Steve and have a grown up daughter and son. In my leisure time I love spending time with my family, walking our dog across the cliffs; especially on a windy day when you can ‘blow the cobwebs away’, kayaking around our beautiful coastline, swimming, meeting up with friends, listening to music, cooking, dancing and reading. I have taken part in various crazy charity fund raising activities from pushing a car from Helston to Penzance, cycling 36 miles in the pouring rain and howling wind as well as power walking a marathon around London in the middle of the night!
In my work I always try to remember that I am not dealing with houses but peoples HOMES!
Alan Christophers
I was born in Helston and at the age of two moved to Newlyn. I returned to Helston just after I failed my eleven plus and attended secondary school there. I started in estate agency in 1977 and trained to be a surveyor.
I was one of the original team at Christophers alongside my wife Patricia , Garry and Sheila without whose support and help the company would not have started.
I have two children and I am fortunate to combine my two main hobbies of sport and photograpy with my pictures of Helston teams appearing form time to time in the local press. I have followed Manchester United since 1966 but was connected to them from birth having been named after Duncan Edwards who had shortly before lost his life in the Munich air crash. In my younger years I played cricket and football for Helston. I enjoy listening to music particularly The Beatles, Pink Floyd, Paul Simon and Coldplay.
I am very lucky to have worked alongside so many dedicated, professional, successful and genuinely nice colleagues in my time with Christophers Estate Agents.
Helen Hunt
I spent most of my childhood in St Keverne attending the local school and then Helston Comprehensive. Following this I went on to further education at Camborne College.
Having worked in the building trade for many years and moving home numerous times it gave me a passion for properties. I decided to make the most of this enthusiasm by seeking employment in estate agency. I secured a position with Christophers in 2007.
I now live in Helston with my daughter who shares my interest in properties and is interested in interior design. My favourite activities, other than watching house programmes, include regular sessions at the gym, walking, cinema and chilling out with family and friends.
Ian Jones
I have lived and worked in Helston for most of my life and was educated locally. I am married to Louise and have two young children. I joined Christophers in 2011 having worked for another local Cornish Company for 26 years in various sales environments. In this time I have amassed a wealth of knowledge which I now bring to the Christophers name.
I like the outdoors whether it being walking, cycling or enjoying all that our beautiful County offers. I am also a big sports fan - none more so than the glorious Manchester United, which I hope will not deter any prospective clients!
I am very enthusiastic and pride myself on delivering the highest standards of customer service.
